Today, we launched our February 2026 Built World Market Report to give workplace teams a clearer view into what’s actually happening at the office for both enterprise and SMB organizations.

Hybrid policies and return-to-office mandates continue to evolve, but understanding how those decisions translate into real occupancy, behavior, and space usage remains a challenge. Many teams are left wondering how often people are truly coming in, how intentional that time is, and how their workplace compares to others navigating similar shifts.

This report was created to help answer those questions using real-world signals.

How we built the report

The insights in this report come from observing how workplaces operate day to day. We analyzed a wide range of anonymized workplace activity across hundreds of organizations over the past year, looking closely at how employees plan their time in the office and how spaces are configured and supported behind the scenes.

That includes how desks and meeting rooms are booked, how seating is assigned across teams and departments, how different types of spaces are used, and how often environments are adjusted as organizations grow and change. We also examined the operational work required to keep offices running, from moves and reconfigurations to inspections and facilities requests.

Taken together, this data provides a broad, detailed picture of real workplace behavior and how the built world is actually being used.
